Wall Street
The 1990s Wall Street that Gordon Gekko made famous that was Rafa's world. Hundreds of millions under management. Clients from Singapore, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and across the United States. He hunted whales the men who moved markets and closed them. He built an independent branch from a room smaller than most closets, became a top-producing broker, and operated at a level most men only see in the movies. Because for Rafa, it wasn't a movie. It was Monday.

On September 11, 2001, Rafa watched the towers fall and saw police officers and firefighters walk into a burning building. Something came over him he could not shake — a calling to serve at a higher level, for a higher purpose. He took a 90% pay cut, entered the police academy, and became one of the most decorated officers in his department. Narcotics. SWAT. DEA Federal Task Force. He Nearly
Lost It All.
"I sat across from my wife. Newly married. A baby on the way. And I told her I wanted to be a police officer."
She married a top-level Wall Street broker. Not a cop. But on September 11, 2001, Rafa watched the towers fall. He watched police officers and firefighters walk into that burning building. Something came over him that he could not ignore — a calling to serve something greater than himself, greater than a commission check, greater than a title. He walked away from nearly a million dollars a year to earn $34,000. He nearly lost his home. Lost his cars. Lost his dignity.
But he refused to lose.
Every day off. Every second of free time. He traveled across Latin America teaching tactical training, building a company from nothing, fighting to put food on the table for his family. His entrepreneurial spirit and his warrior code refused to let him quit.
